Turbine Radar Success at Belfast International Airport.

MKA have reached agreement with Belfast International Airport (BIA) that a proposed wind turbine at Church Road, Randalstown for a private Client can be approved with a negative planning condition requiring a Radar Mitigation Scheme (RMS) to be submitted and approved by the Planning Service prior to any development taking place.

MKA were brought in on this application in 2013 to resolve aviation objections. After extensive negotiations between BIA and MKA the aviation objection has now been removed.

MKA have been successful in obtaining planning permission for wind turbines close to all the major airports. If you have a wind turbine that has a difficulty with aviation contact  Matt or one of the MKA Team at 028 71311551 to discuss your planning matter.
