MKA Planning’s success at Pharmacy Appeal, Lurgan.

MKA Planning have  been successful  representing objecting pharmacies in getting a pharmacy appeal refused for  Northern Pharmacies Limited for a new pharmaceutical licence at an unbuilt retail unit at Riverglade Retail Park on Gilpinstown Road, Lurgan.

The NAP Panel determined that an adequate provision of pharmaceutical services was already secured to the defined neighbourhood and there was no need for an additional licence and refused the appeal.

The NAP Panel found that the existing town centre pharmacies were sufficient to satisfy the reasonable pharmaceutical requirements of the neighbourhood. They concluded that for those who were unable to access existing pharmacies in the town centre, the collection and delivery services provided by a number of these pharmacies on a regular basis provided a valuable supplementary means of accessing pharmaceutical services.
